Dr. Barton graduated summa cum laude from UCSD then received his MD from UCLA School of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at UCLA, followed by fellowship training at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. This training included intraoperative monitoring, clinical neurophysiology, electromyography (EMG/NCV), electroencephalography (EEG), and neuromuscular disease. Dr. Barton is dual board-certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. He has great enthusiasm and drive for patient care to go with his robust academic and clinical background.
